Bavaria 33 Cruiser, Short description of the sailing yacht

The Bavaria 33 was built as a replacement of the popular Bavaria 32. At 34'3" overall, the 33 Cruiser boasts nearly 150 sq ft of more sail area, set on over 4 more feet of mast height. This enhances the performance potential even further apart from the competition.

The Bavaria yachts are synonymous with flawless, German craftsmanship, deep keels providing excellent tracking and an unbelieveable turn of speed off the mark! This little yacht will impress even the most demanding sailor as she tacks on a dime without losing more than a fraction of her windward momentum.

As with all models of this new generation of cruisers, the 33 has additional port holes in the hull and big panoramic windows letting plenty of light down below.

This sailboat is ideal for a romantic getaway, is easily single handed but is ideal for a crew of two. She boasts a spacious cockpit for a young family of 3 to 4 as well as a nicely designed, sail handling arrangement.

A fuller hull shape allows for increased interior volume. Construction includes Kevlar in the bow sections for increased impact and puncture resistance. Above the waterline and in the deck, she's foam core for super stiffness and lightness and strength. Fabmat is used throughout to eliminate ugly print through and there is a fully integrated grid in the hull for additional strength and load distribution.

There are numerous opening ports throughout including the head and aft cabin. The hull ports are fixed. Deck hardware is included with adjustable traveler and inboard genoa tracks.

The head has a shower and sump pump, toilet with holding tank and to boot, there is a cockpit shower too.

Sleeping arrangements include two huge double berths in a forward and aft cabin. Both cabins not only have long berths for comfort, but also you can stand up inside each for changing (some boats you can't do that and just crawl into the berths) as well as sit down on a cushioned seat. Cabins are separated with solid doors and include hanging lockers, bins and cupboards for tons of storage.
